New Horizons for Fundamental Physics with LISA
K. G. Arun, Enis Belgacem, Robert Benkel +138
The Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) has the potential to reveal wonders about the fundamental theory of nature at play in the extreme gravity regime, where the gravitatio…
Boosting GWs in Supersolid Inflation
Marco Celoria, Denis Comelli, Luigi Pilo +1
Inflation driven by a generic self-gravitating medium is an interesting alternative to study the impact of spontaneous spacetime symmetry breaking during a quasi de-Sitter phase, i…
Prospects for Fundamental Physics with LISA
Enrico Barausse, Emanuele Berti, Thomas Hertog +318
In this paper, which is of programmatic rather than quantitative nature, we aim to further delineate and sharpen the future potential of the LISA mission in the area of fundamental…
Adiabatic Media Inflation
Marco Celoria, Denis Comelli, Luigi Pilo +1
We study the dynamics of inflation driven by an adiabatic self-gravitating medium, extending the previous works on fluid and solid inflation. Such a class of media comprises perfec…
Formalism and Conserved Currents in Cosmology
Sabino Matarrese, Luigi Pilo, Rocco Rollo
The formalism, based on the counting of the number of e-folds during inflation in different local patches of the Universe, has been introduced several years ago as a simple an…
