Universal classes near
Marcos Mazari-Armida, Sebastien Vasey
Shelah has provided sufficient conditions for an -sentence to have arbitrarily large models and for a Morley-like theorem to hold of . These conditions involve s…
Internal sizes in -abstract elementary classes
Michael Lieberman, Jiří Rosický, Sebastien Vasey
Working in the context of -abstract elementary classes (-AECs) - or, equivalently, accessible categories with all morphisms monomorphisms - we examine the two natural notions…
Tameness from two successive good frames
Sebastien Vasey
We show, assuming a mild set-theoretic hypothesis, that if an abstract elementary class (AEC) has a superstable-like forking notion for models of cardinality and a superstable-…
Universal abstract elementary classes and locally multipresentable categories
Michael Lieberman, Jiří Rosický, Sebastien Vasey
We exhibit an equivalence between the model-theoretic framework of universal classes and the category-theoretic framework of locally multipresentable categories. We similarly give…
Abstract elementary classes stable in
Saharon Shelah, Sebastien Vasey
We study abstract elementary classes (AECs) that, in , have amalgamation, joint embedding, no maximal models and are stable (in terms of the number of orbital types). Ass…
