Multi-qubit time-varying quantum channels for NISQ-era superconducting quantum processors
Josu Etxezarreta Martinez, Patricio Fuentes, Antonio deMarti iOlius +3
Recent experimental studies have shown that the relaxation time () and the dephasing time () of superconducting qubits fluctuate considerably over time. To appropriately…
Performance of surface codes in realistic quantum hardware
Antonio deMarti iOlius, Josu Etxezarreta Martinez, Patricio Fuentes +2
Surface codes are generally studied based on the assumption that each of the qubits that make up the surface code lattice suffers noise that is independent and identically distribu…
Quantum outage probability for time-varying quantum channels
Josu Etxezarreta Martinez, Patricio Fuentes, Pedro Crespo +1
Recent experimental studies have shown that the relaxation time, , and the dephasing time, , of superconducting qubits fluctuate considerably over time. Time-varying quan…
On the logical error rate of sparse quantum codes
Patricio Fuentes, Josu Etxezarreta Martinez, Pedro M. Crespo +1
The quantum paradigm presents a phenomenon known as degeneracy that should improve the performance of quantum error correcting codes. However, the effects of this mechanism are som…
