Carrier-envelope phase of a light bullet
Elizaveta Zaloznaya, Victor Kompanets, Alexander Savvin +3
A light bullet is an extremely compressed in space and time wave packet of a few optical cycles, which is formed in the bulk transparent dielectric during femtosecond filamentation…
NV Diamond Laser
Alexander Savvin, Alexander Dormidonov, Evgeniya Smetanina +6
For the first time, lasing at NV centers in an optically pumped diamond sample is achieved. A nanosecond train of 150-ps 532-nm laser pulses was used to pump the sample. The…
Mid IR single-cycle light bullet self-reconstruction after an air gap under single-pulse femtosecond filamentation in LiF
Sergey Chekalin, Alexandr Dormidonov, Valerii Kandidov +1
The results of investigation of extremely compressed wave packet-light bullet (LB) penetration through an air gap under single-pulse femtosecond Mid IR filamentation in LiF are pre…
Regular "Breathing" of Single-Cycle Light Bullets in Mid-IR Filament
S. V. Chekalin, V. O. Kompanets, A. V. Kuznetzov +3
Experimental and numerical studies of a temporal evolution of a light bullet formed in isotropic LiF by Mid IR femtosecond pulse (2500 to 3250 nm) of power, slightly exceeding the…
