Super-FRS GEM-TPC Prototype Development Based on n-Xyter Asic for the FAIR Facility
F. Garcia, R. Turpeinen, R. Lauhakangas +13
The FAIR facility is an international accelerator centre for research with ion and antiproton beams. It is being built at Darmstadt, Germany as an extension to the current GSI rese…
Twin GEM-TPC Prototype (HGB4) Beam Test at GSI - a Development for the Super-FRS at FAIR
F. Garcia, R. Turpeinen, R. Lauhakangas +30
The GEM-TPC detector will be part of the standard Super-FRS detection system, as tracker detectors at several focal stations along the separator and its three branches.
Measurement of excitation spectra in the C reaction near the emission threshold
Y. K. Tanaka, K. Itahashi, H. Fujioka +51
Excitation spectra of C were measured in the C reaction near the emission threshold. A proton beam extracted from the synchrotron SIS-18 at GSI with an in…
Proton distribution radii of C illuminate features of neutron halos
R. Kanungo, W. Horiuchi, G. Hagen +35
Proton radii of C densities derived from first accurate charge changing cross section measurements at 900 MeV with a carbon target are reported. A thick neutron surfac…
