The SND@LHC neutron shielding
LHC Collaboration
The design and construction of a neutron shielding for the SND@LHC detector, which utilizes a combination of plexiglass and borated polyethylene, is presented. FLUKA simulations we…
Studies of Hadronic Showers in SND@LHC
LHC Collaboration
The SND@LHC experiment was built for observing neutrinos arising from LHC pp collisions. The detector consists of two sections: a target instrumented with SciFi modules and a hadro…
Track reconstruction and matching between emulsion and silicon pixel detectors for the SHiP-charm experiment
SHiP Collaboration
In July 2018 an optimization run for the proposed charm cross section measurement for SHiP was performed at the CERN SPS. A heavy, moving target instrumented with nuclear emulsion…
SND@LHC
SHiP Collaboration, C. Ahdida, A. Akmete +341
We propose to build and operate a detector that, for the first time, will measure the process at the LHC and search for feebly interacting particles (FIPs) in an unexplor…
Measurement of the muon flux for the SHiP experiment
SHiP Collaboration
The SHiP experiment will search for very weakly interacting particles beyond the Standard Model which are produced in a 400 \GeV/ proton beam dump at the CERN SPS. About $10^{11…
