The Clusters Hiding in Plain Sight (CHiPS) survey: CHIPS1911+4455, a Rapidly-Cooling Core in a Merging Cluster
Taweewat Somboonpanyakul, Michael McDonald, Matthew Bayliss +6
We present high-resolution optical images from the Hubble Space Telescope, X-ray images from the Chandra X-ray Observatory, and optical spectra from the Nordic Optical Telescope fo…
Lyman Alpha Reference Sample: X. Predicting Lyman alpha output from starforming galaxies using multivariate regression
Axel Runnholm, Matthew Hayes, Jens Melinder +4
Understanding the production and escape of Lyman (Ly) radiation from star-forming galaxies is a long standing problem in astrophysics. The ability to predict the Ly lumin…
Slicing the cool circumgalactic medium along the major-axis of a star-forming galaxy at
S. Lopez, N. Tejos, L. F. Barrientos +13
We present spatially-resolved echelle spectroscopy of an intervening MgII-FeII-MgI absorption-line system detected at toward the giant gravitational arc PSZ1…
An X-ray Detection of Star Formation In a Highly Magnified Giant Arc
M. B. Bayliss, M. McDonald, K. Sharon +19
In the past decade, our understanding of how stars and galaxies formed during the first 5 billion years after the Big Bang has been revolutionized by observations that leverage gra…
