The Sunyaev-Zeldovich MITO Project
Livia D'Alba, Francesco Melchiorri, Marco De Petris +6
Compton scattering of the cosmic microwave background radiation by electrons in the hot gas in clusters of galaxies - the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect - has long been recognized as a u…
The Dawn of Galaxies: Deep MAMBO Imaging Surveys
F. Bertoldi, K. M. Menten, E. Kreysa +2
We discuss results from sensitive, wide-field imaging of the millimeter extragalactic background using the Max-Planck Millimeter Bolometer array (MAMBO) at the IRAM 30m telescope.
Wide Field Imaging at 250 GHz
C. L. Carilli, F. Bertoldi, A. Bertarini +5
We summarize results from sensitive, wide-field imaging at 250 GHz using the Max-Planck Bolometer Array at the IRAM 30m telescope, including source counts, clustering, and redshift…
Three high-redshift millimeter sources and their radio and near-infrared identifications
F. Bertoldi, C. L. Carilli, K. M. Menten +11
We present millimeter wavelength detections of three faint sources that are most likely high-redshift starburst galaxies. For one of the sources, which was previously discovered wi…
Dust Emission from High Redshift QSOs
C. L. Carilli, F. Bertoldi, K. M. Menten +8
We present detections of emission at 250 GHz (1.2 mm) from two high redshift QSOs from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey sample using the bolometer array at the IRAM 30m telescope. The…
