The Most Massive Early-type Galaxies Exhibit Tidal Features More Frequently in Lower-density Environments
Yongmin Yoon, Jae-Woo Kim, Jongwan Ko
The most massive early-type galaxies (ETGs) are known to form through numerous galaxy mergers. Thus, it is intriguing to study whether their formation in low-density environments,…
Low-mass Quiescent Galaxies Are Small in Isolated Environments: Environmental Dependence of the Mass-Size Relation of Low-mass Quiescent Galaxies
Yongmin Yoon, Jae-Woo Kim, Jongwan Ko
We study the mass-size relation of quiescent galaxies across various environments, with a particular focus on its environmental dependence at the low-mass part of $\log(M_\mathrm{s…
The Infrared Medium-deep Survey. IX. Discovery of Two New Quasars and Space Density down to mag
Yongjung Kim, Myungshin Im, Yiseul Jeon +17
We present the result of the Infrared Medium-deep Survey (IMS) quasar survey, using the combination of the IMS near-infrared images and the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope…
The Infrared Medium-deep Survey. \Romannum{7}. Faint Quasars at in the ELAIS-N1 Field
Suhyun Shin, Myungshin Im, Yongjung Kim +26
The intergalactic medium (IGM) at 5 to 6 is largely ionized, and yet the main source for the IGM ionization in the early universe is uncertain. Of the possible contributors…
