Low dust mass and high star-formation efficiency at from deep ALMA observations
Ikki Mitsuhashi, Jorge A. Zavala, Tom J. L. C. Bakx +15
We investigate the dust mass build-up and star formation efficiency of two galaxies at , GHZ2 and GS-z14-0, by combining ALMA and JWST observations with an analytical model t…
A Novel high-z submm Galaxy Efficient Line Survey in ALMA bands 3 through 8 -- An ANGELS Pilot
T. J. L. C. Bakx, A. Amvrosiadis, G. J. Bendo +32
We use the Atacama Large sub/Millimetre Array (ALMA) to efficiently observe spectral lines across Bands 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 at high-resolution (0.5" - 0.1") for 16 bright southern…
ADF22-WEB: A giant barred spiral starburst galaxy in the z = 3.1 SSA22 protocluster core
H. Umehata, C. C. Steidel, I. Smail +15
In the present-day universe, the most massive galaxies are ellipticals located in the cores of galaxy clusters, harboring the heaviest super-massive black holes (SMBHs). However th…
An ALMA survey of the brightest sub-millimetre sources in the SCUBA-2 COSMOS field
J. M. Simpson, Ian Smail, U. Dudzeviciute +19
We present an ALMA study of the ~180 brightest sources in the SCUBA-2 map of the COSMOS field from the S2COSMOS survey, as a pilot study for AS2COSMOS - a full survey of the ~1,000…
