Surface wave scattering by multiple flexible fishing cage system
Siluvai Antony Selvan, R. Gayathri, Harekrushna Behera +1
A study of the wave dynamics around a multiple fishing cage system is carried out under the assumption of the linear water wave theory and small-amplitude wave response. The Fourie…
Impact of sloping porous seabed on the efficiency of an OWC against oblique waves
Mohamin B M Khan, Harekrushna Behera
The study examines the influence of a sloping porous bed on the efficiency of an oscillating water column (OWC) device facing oblique water waves. A vertical, surface piercing, thi…
Effect of imposed shear on the dynamics of a contaminated two-layer film flow down a slippery incline
Muhammad Sani, Siluvai Antony Selvan, Sukhendu Ghosh +1
The linear instability of a surfactant-laden two-layer falling film over an inclined slippery wall is analyzed under an influence of external shear which is imposed on the top surf…
Effect of floating flexible plate on the dynamics of flow over a mild-slope
Siluvai Antony Selvan, Sukhendu Ghosh, Harekrushna Behera +1
Hydrodynamic instability of a gravity-driven flow down an inclined plane is investigated in the presence of a floating elastic plate which rests on the top surface of the flow. Lin…
