Fast, High-Fidelity Erasure Detection of Dual-Rail Qubits with Symmetrically Coupled Readout
Jimmy Shih-Chun Hung, Arbel Haim, Mouktik Raha +14
Erasure qubits are a promising platform for implementing hardware-efficient quantum error correction. Realizing the error-correction advantages of this encoding requires frequent m…
Hardware-efficient quantum error correction via concatenated bosonic qubits
Harald Putterman, Kyungjoo Noh, Connor T. Hann +118
In order to solve problems of practical importance, quantum computers will likely need to incorporate quantum error correction, where a logical qubit is redundantly encoded in many…
An Open-Source, Industrial-Strength Optimizing Compiler for Quantum Programs
Robert S. Smith, Eric C. Peterson, Mark G. Skilbeck +1
Quilc is an open-source, optimizing compiler for gate-based quantum programs written in Quil or QASM, two popular quantum programming languages. The compiler was designed with atte…
Automated quantum programming via reinforcement learning for combinatorial optimization
Keri A. McKiernan, Erik Davis, M. Sohaib Alam +1
We develop a general method for incentive-based programming of hybrid quantum-classical computing systems using reinforcement learning, and apply this to solve combinatorial optimi…
