Phase curve pollution of exoplanet transmission spectra
G. Morello, T. Zingales, M. Martin-Lagarde +2
The occurrence of a planet transiting in front of its host star offers the opportunity to observe the planet's atmosphere filtering starlight. The fraction of occulted stellar flux…
Discovery and characterization of the exoplanets WASP-148b and c. A transiting system with two interacting giant planets
G. Hebrard, R. F. Diaz, A. C. M. Correia +39
We present the discovery and characterization of WASP-148, a new extrasolar system that includes at least two giant planets. The host star is a slowly rotating inactive late-G dwar…
The ExoTETHyS package: Tools for Exoplanetary Transits around Host Stars
Giuseppe Morello, Antonio Claret, Marine Martin-Lagarde +3
We present here the first release of the open-source python package ExoTETHyS, which aims to provide a stand-alone set of tools for modeling spectro-photometric observations of the…
Magrathea: Dust growth experiment in micro-gravity conditions
André G. C. Guerra, Adrián Banos García, Adrián Castanón Esteban +14
One of the least understood processes in astrophysics is the formation of planetesimals from molecules and dust within protoplanetary disks. In fact, current methods have strong li…
