The Numerical Index of Two-Dimensional Real Spaces
Rafael Chiclana
The computation of the numerical index of classical Banach spaces is one of the original problems in the theory. In this paper, we compute the numerical index of two-dimensional re…
Some stability properties for the Bishop--Phelps--Bollobás property for Lipschitz maps
Rafael Chiclana, Miguel Martin
We study the stability behavior of the Bishop-Phelps-Bollobás property for Lipschitz maps (Lip-BPB property). This property is a Lipschitz version of the classical Bishop-Phelps-Bo…
Examples and applications of the density of strongly norm attaining Lipschitz maps
Rafael Chiclana, Luis C. García-Lirola, Miguel Martin +1
We study the density of the set of those Lipschitz maps from a (complete pointed) metric space to a Banach space which strongly attain their norm…
The Bishop--Phelps--Bollobás property for Lipschitz maps
Rafael Chiclana, Miguel Martin
In this paper, we introduce and study a Lipschitz version of the Bishop-Phelps-Bollobás property (Lip-BPB property). This property deals with the possibility of making a uniformly…
On strongly norm attaining Lipschitz maps
Bernardo Cascales, Rafa Chiclana, Luis Garcia-Lirola +2
We study the set of those Lipschitz maps from a (complete pointed) metric space to a Banach space which (strongly) attain their Lipschitz norm (i.…
