Fates of the sub-stellar objects (FOSSO) II. Evidence for Suppression of Metal Pollution in White Dwarfs by Close Substellar Companions
Zhangliang Chen, Xin-Yue Zhang, Di-Chang Chen +4
Approximately 25--50\% of white dwarfs (WDs) exhibit metal absorption lines in their photospheres, interpreted as evidence of ongoing/recent accretion of planetary debris from remn…
TESS Asteroseismic Analysis of HD 76920: The Giant Star Hosting An Extremely Eccentric Exoplanet
Chen Jiang, Tao Wu, Adina D. Feinstein +30
The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission searches for new exoplanets. The observing strategy of TESS results in high-precision photometry of millions of stars acros…
TESS Asteroseismic Analysis of the Known Exoplanet Host Star HD 222076
Chen Jiang, Timothy R. Bedding, Keivan G. Stassun +24
The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) is an all-sky survey mission aiming to search for exoplanets that transit bright stars. The high-quality photometric data of TESS a…
Frequency identification and asteroseismic analysis of the red giant KIC 9145955: fundamental parameters and helium core size
Xinyi Zhang, Tao Wu, Yan Li
We have analyzed 18 quarters of long-cadence data of KIC 9145955 provided by \emph{Kepler}, and extracted 61 oscillation frequencies from these high precision photometric data. The…
