Global Portraits of Inflation in Nonsingular Variables
Laur Järv, Dmitri Kraiko
In the phase space perspective, scalar field slow roll inflation is described by a heteroclinic orbit from a saddle type fixed point to a final attractive point. In many models the…
Exploring Axial Symmetry in Modified Teleparallel Gravity
Sebastian Bahamonde, Jorge Gigante Valcarcel, Laur Järv +1
Axially symmetric spacetimes play an important role in the relativistic description of rotating astrophysical objects like black holes, stars, etc. In gravitational theories that v…
Equivalence of inflationary models between the metric and Palatini formulation of scalar-tensor theories
Laur Järv, Alexandros Karam, Aleksander Kozak +3
With a scalar field non-minimally coupled to curvature, the underlying geometry and variational principle of gravity - metric or Palatini - becomes important and makes a difference…
Flat connection for rotating vacuum spacetimes in extended teleparallel gravity theories
Laur Järv, Manuel Hohmann, Martin Krššák +1
Teleparallel geometry utilizes Weitzenböck connection which has nontrivial torsion but no curvature and does not directly follow from the metric like Levi-Civita connection. In ext…
