The SCUBA-2 Large eXtragalactic Survey: 850um map, catalogue and the bright-end number counts of the XMM-LSS field
T. K. Garratt, J. E. Geach, Y. Tamura +22
We present 850um imaging of the XMM-LSS field observed for 170 hours as part of the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope SCUBA-2 Large eXtragalactic Survey (S2LXS). S2LXS XMM-LSS maps an…
Cosmic evolution of the H2 mass density and the epoch of molecular gas
T. K. Garratt, K. E. K. Coppin, J. E. Geach +13
We present new empirical constraints on the evolution of , the cosmological mass density of molecular hydrogen, back to . We employ a statistical approach…
The e-MERLIN Galaxy Evolution Survey (e-MERGE): Overview and Survey Description
T. W. B. Muxlow, A. P. Thomson, J. F. Radcliffe +37
We present an overview and description of the eMERLIN Galaxy Evolution survey (eMERGE) Data Release 1 (DR1), a large program of high-resolution 1.5 GHz radio observations of the GO…
The case for a 'sub-millimeter SDSS': a 3D map of galaxy evolution to z~10
James E. Geach, Manda Banerji, Frank Bertoldi +53
The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) was revolutionary because of the extraordinary breadth and ambition of its optical imaging and spectroscopy. We argue that a 'sub-millimeter SDS…
