Autonomous Open-Ended Learning of Tasks with Non-Stationary Interdependencies
Alejandro Romero, Gianluca Baldassarre, Richard J. Duro +1
Autonomous open-ended learning is a relevant approach in machine learning and robotics, allowing the design of artificial agents able to acquire goals and motor skills without the…
DREAM Architecture: a Developmental Approach to Open-Ended Learning in Robotics
Stephane Doncieux, Nicolas Bredeche, Léni Le Goff +9
Robots are still limited to controlled conditions, that the robot designer knows with enough details to endow the robot with the appropriate models or behaviors. Learning algorithm…
An Experiment in Morphological Development for Learning ANN Based Controllers
M. Naya-Varela, A. Faina, R. J. Duro
Morphological development is part of the way any human or animal learns. The learning processes starts with the morphology at birth and progresses through changing morphologies unt…
Some Experiments on the influence of Problem Hardness in Morphological Development based Learning of Neural Controllers
M. Naya-Varela, A. Faina, R. J. Duro
Natural beings undergo a morphological development process of their bodies while they are learning and adapting to the environments they face from infancy to adulthood. In fact, th…
