A search for transit timing variations in the transiting hot Jupiter systems HIP 65, NGTS-6, NGTS-10 and WASP-173
A. W. Griffiths, J. Southworth, L. Alegre +30
Hot Jupiters are Jupiter-mass planets with orbital periods of less than ten days. Their short orbital separations make tidal dissipation within the stellar host especially efficien…
The Orbit of WASP-4 b is in Decay
Ö. Baştürk, A. C. Kutluay, A. Barker +25
WASP-4 b is a hot Jupiter exhibiting a decreasing orbital period, prompting investigations into potential mechanisms driving its evolution. We analyzed 173 transit light curves, in…
AT2021uey: A planetary microlensing event outside the Galactic bulge
M. Ban, P. Voloshyn, R. Adomaviciene +42
We report the analysis of a planetary microlensing event AT2021uey. The event was observed outside the Galactic bulge and was alerted by both space- (Gaia) and ground-based (ZTF an…
Shape and spin state model of contact binary (388188) 2006 DP14 using combined radar and optical observations
Richard E. Cannon, Agata Rozek, Marina Brozović +36
Contact binaries are found throughout the solar system. The recent discovery of Selam, the satellite of MBA (152830) Dinkinesh, by the NASA LUCY mission has made it clear that the…
