The Dynamics of Co-orbital Giant Exomoons -- Applications for the Kepler-1625 b and Kepler-1708 b Satellite Systems
Ricardo Moraes, Gabriel Borderes-Motta, Othon Cabo Winter +1
Exomoons are a missing piece of exoplanetary science. Recently, two promising candidates were proposed, Kepler-1625 b-I and Kepler-1708 b-I. While the latter still lacks a dynamica…
On the Stability of Additional Moons Orbiting Kepler-1625 b
Ricardo Moraes, Gabriel Borderes-Motta, Othon Cabo Winter +1
Since it was proposed the exomoon candidate Kepler-1625 b-I changed the way we see satellite systems. Because of its unusual physical characteristics, many questions about the stab…
Exploring formation scenarios for the exomoon candidate Kepler 1625b I
Ricardo Moraes, Ernesto Vieira Neto
If confirmed, the Neptune-size exomoon candidate in the Kepler 1625 system will be the first natural satellite outside our Solar System. Its characteristics are nothing alike we kn…
Growth and evolution of satellites in a Jovian massive disc
Ricardo A Moraes, Wilhelm Kley, Ernesto Vieira Neto
The formation of satellite systems in circum-planetary discs is considered to be similar to the formation of rocky planets in a proto-planetary disc, especially Super-Earths. Thus,…
