Zadoff-Chu Sequences for Chirp-Domain Communication: Diversity-Complexity Tradeoffs in Doubly Dispersive Channels
Rawan Alghamdi, Moahmed Siala, Tareq Y. Al-Naffouri +1
Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) combats multipath-induced time dispersion by dividing the channel into narrowband sub-channels. However, when the channel also exh…
Equitable 6G Access Service via Cloud-Enabled HAPS for Optimizing Hybrid Air-Ground Networks
Rawan Alghamdi, Hayssam Dahrouj, Tareq Al-Naffouri +1
The evolvement of wireless communication services concurs with significant growth in data traffic, thereby inflicting stringent requirements on terrestrial networks. This work invi…
Intelligent Surfaces for 6G Wireless Networks: A Survey of Optimization and Performance Analysis Techniques
Rawan Alghamdi, Reem Alhadrami, Dalia Alhothali +11
This paper surveys the optimization frameworks and performance analysis methods for large intelligent surfaces (LIS), which have been emerging as strong candidates to support the s…
On Distributed Routing in Underwater Optical Wireless Sensor Networks
Rawan Alghamdi, Nasir Saeed, Hayssam Dahrouj +2
Underwater optical wireless communication (UOWC) is becoming an attractive technology for underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs) since it offers high-speed communication links…
