Submodularity in Action: From Machine Learning to Signal Processing Applications
Ehsan Tohidi, Rouhollah Amiri, Mario Coutino +3
Submodularity is a discrete domain functional property that can be interpreted as mimicking the role of the well-known convexity/concavity properties in the continuous domain. Subm…
Compressed-Domain Detection and Estimation for Colocated MIMO Radar
Ehsan Tohidi, Alireza Hariri, Hamid Behroozi +3
This paper proposes compressed domain signal processing (CSP) multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar, a MIMO radar approach that achieves substantial sample complexity reducti…
Distributed Resource Allocation Algorithms for Multi-Operator Cognitive Communication Systems
Ehsan Tohidi, David Gesbert, Philippe Ciblat
We address the problem of resource allocation (RA) in a cognitive radio (CR) communication system with multiple secondary operators sharing spectrum with an incumbent primary opera…
Decentralizing Multi-Operator Cognitive Radio Resource Allocation: An Asymptotic Analysis
Ehsan Tohidi, David Gesbert, Antonio Bazco-Nogueras +1
We address the problem of resource allocation (RA) for spectrum underlay in a cognitive radio (CR) communication system with multiple secondary operators sharing resource with an i…
