The 3He(α,γ)7Be γ-ray angular distribution: measured, and calculated by effective field theory
S. Turkat, P. Hempel, X. Zhang +26
The 3He(alpha,gamma)7Be reaction takes place in several distinct astrophysical scenarios. First, in solar hydrogen burning, 3He(alpha,gamma)7Be controls the competition between the…
Underground nuclear astrophysics: Status and recent results from Felsenkeller laboratory
Eliana Masha, Daniel Bemmerer, Axel Boeltzig +4
For almost three decades it has been known that the study of astro-physically important nuclear reactions between stable nuclei requires the use of low-background, underground acce…
Searching for neutrinoless double beta decay with GERDA
GERDA Collaboration, M. Agostini, A. M. Bakalyarov +103
The GERmanium Detector Array (GERDA) experiment located at the INFN Gran Sasso Laboratory (Italy), is looking for the neutrinoless double beta decay of Ge76, by using high-purity g…
Search of Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay with the GERDA Experiment
Giovanni Benato
The Gerda experiment designed to search for the neutrinoless double beta decay in 76Ge has successfully completed the first data collection. No signal excess is found, and a lower…
