Performance Analysis of an Outdoor Visible Light Communications System for Internet-of-Vehicles
Ramadan Abdul-Rashid, Anas M. Salhab, Salam A. Zummo
This paper looks at the performance of an outdoor visible light (OVLC) communication system used for Internet-of-Vehicles (IoV). In the proposed system an amplify-and-forward (AF)…
Accurate, Energy-Efficient, Decentralized, Single-Hop, Asynchronous Time Synchronization Protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks
Ramadan Abdul-Rashid, Ali Al-Shaikhi, Ahmad Masoud
This paper concerns with the synchronization of infrastructure impoverished sensor networks under harsh conditions. It suggests three novel asynchronous, decentralized, energyeffic…
Time Synchronization in Wireless Sensor Networks based on Newtons Adaptive Algorithm
Ramadan Abdul-Rashid, Azzedine Zerguine
This paper proposes a novel time synchronization protocol inspired by the adaptive Newton search algorithm. The clock model of nodes are modeled as an adaptive filter and a pairwis…
