Comparative Study of Out-of-the-Box Technology for Automatic Target Detection and Recognition
Alma M. Liezenga, Lotte Nijskens, Henrik R. Baumann +12
Automatic Target Detection and Recognition (ATD/R) is critical for military decision support and (semi-)autonomous operations. Recent advances in object detection and artificial in…
OSSA: Unsupervised One-Shot Style Adaptation
Robin Gerster, Holger Caesar, Matthias Rapp +2
Despite their success in various vision tasks, deep neural network architectures often underperform in out-of-distribution scenarios due to the difference between training and targ…
Utilizing Grounded SAM for self-supervised frugal camouflaged human detection
Matthias Pijarowski, Alexander Wolpert, Martin Heckmann +1
Visually detecting camouflaged objects is a hard problem for both humans and computer vision algorithms. Strong similarities between object and background appearance make the task…
Anchor-free Small-scale Multispectral Pedestrian Detection
Alexander Wolpert, Michael Teutsch, M. Saquib Sarfraz +1
Multispectral images consisting of aligned visual-optical (VIS) and thermal infrared (IR) image pairs are well-suited for practical applications like autonomous driving or visual s…
