Misaligned or chaotic? A strong break of axial symmetry in the local LRD J1025 revealed with VLT/FORS2 spectropolarimetry
Francesco D'Eugenio, Gabriele Pezzulli, Roberto Maiolino +18
Little Red Dots (LRDs) are compact active galactic nuclei (AGN) with unusual spectral energy distributions and broad Balmer emission, candidate signposts of rapid black-hole growth…
JWST Advanced Deep Extragalactic Survey (JADES) Data Release 5: stellar population catalogue for galaxies in GOODS-N and GOODS-S
Qiao Duan, Sandro Tacchella, Benjamin D. Johnson +37
We present the galaxy stellar population catalogue from the JWST Advanced Deep Extragalactic Survey (JADES) Data Release 5 (DR5), providing homogeneous Bayesian inference of physic…
Stellar masses of optically dark galaxies: uncertainty introduced by the attenuation law and star-formation histories
Yash Lapasia, Sandro Tacchella, Francesco D'Eugenio +11
Recent studies using JWST have suggested that some high-redshift galaxies may be ultra-massive, thereby challenging standard models of early galaxy formation. We analyse the stella…
JADES: Evolution of nitrogen abundances in star-forming galaxies from z ~ 1.5-7
Alex J. Cameron, Courtney Carreira, Charlotte Simmonds +22
We present nitrogen abundance measurements based on the low-ionisation [NII]6583 emission line for 588 galaxies between 1.5<z<7.0 from the JWST Advanced Deep Extragalactic Survey (…
