Masked Symbol Modeling for Demodulation of Oversampled Baseband Communication Signals in Impulsive Noise-Dominated Channels
Oguz Bedir, Nurullah Sevim, Mostafa Ibrahim +1
Recent breakthroughs in natural language processing show that attention mechanism in Transformer networks, trained via masked-token prediction, enables models to capture the semant…
Theoretical Foundations of Waste Factor and Waste Figure with Applications to Fixed Wireless Access and Relay Systems
Nurullah Sevim, Mostafa Ibrahim, Sabit Ekin +1
The exponential rise in energy consumption across wireless communication systems, particularly in anticipation of next-generation wireless systems, necessitates rigorous frameworks…
Block Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS) Allocation for DFT-s-OFDM
Mostafa Ibrahim, Sabit Ekin, Yingming +2
This study introduces a Block Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS) allocation approach for Discrete Fourier Transform-spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFT-s-OFD…
Signal Whisperers: Enhancing Wireless Reception Using DRL-Guided Reflector Arrays
Hieu Le, Oguz Bedir, Mostafa Ibrahim +2
This paper presents a multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) approach for controlling adjustable metallic reflector arrays to enhance wireless signal reception in non-line-of-si…
