An Update to the Letter of Intent for MATHUSLA: Search for Long-Lived Particles at the HL-LHC
Cristiano Alpigiani, Juan Carlos Arteaga-Velázquez, Austin Ball +80
We report on recent progress in the design of the proposed MATHUSLA Long Lived Particle (LLP) detector for the HL-LHC, updating the information in the original Letter of Intent (Lo…
Characterisation and performance of the PADME electromagnetic calorimeter
P. Albicocco, J. Alexander, F. Bossi +42
The PADME experiment at the LNF Beam Test Facility searches for dark photons produced in the annihilation of positrons with the electrons of a fix target. The strategy is to look f…
Characterization of new eco friendly gas mixtures based on HFO for RPCs
G. Proto, G. Aielli, E. Alunno Camelia +11
The ATLAS RPC standard mixture, mainly based on CHF, has a high Global Warming Potential (GWP) and therefore the search for RPC eco friendly gases is mandatory. I…
Linearity and rate capability measurements of RPC with semi-insulating crystalline electrodes operating in avalanche mode
A. Rocchi, R. Cardarelli, B. Liberti +12
The intrinsic rate capability and the ageing properties of the Resistive Plate Chambers are closely related to the electrodes material and to the front-end electronics threshold. T…
