Fundamentals of interior modelling and challenges in the interpretation of observed rocky exoplanets
Philipp Baumeister, Francesca Miozzi, Claire Marie Guimond +7
Most our knowledge about rocky exoplanets is based on their measure of mass and radius. These two parameters are routinely measured and are used to categorise different populations…
First JWST thermal phase curves of temperate terrestrial exoplanets reveal no thick atmosphere around TRAPPIST-1 b and c
Michaël Gillon, Elsa Ducrot, Taylor J. Bell +30
We report JWST/MIRI 15 m phase curves of TRAPPIST-1 b and c, revealing thermal emission consistent with their irradiation levels, assuming no efficient heat redistribution. We f…
Constraints on the possible atmospheres on TRAPPIST-1 b: insights from 3D climate modeling
Alice Maurel, Martin Turbet, Elsa Ducrot +13
JWST observations of the secondary eclipse of TRAPPIST-1 b at 12.8 and 15 microns revealed a very bright dayside. These measurements are consistent with an absence of atmosphere. P…
Giant Outer Transiting Exoplanet Mass (GOT 'EM) Survey. VI: Confirmation of a Long-Period Giant Planet Discovered with a Single TESS Transit
Zahra Essack, Diana Dragomir, Paul A. Dalba +81
We report the discovery and confirmation of TOI-4465 b, a , giant planet orbiting a G dwarf star at 122 pc. The planet was…
