Photometry, Centroid and Point-Spread Function Measurements in the LSST Camera Focal Plane Using Artificial Stars
Johnny H. Esteves, Yousuke Utsumi, Adam Snyder +12
The Vera C. Rubin Observatory's LSST Camera (LSSTCam) pixel response has been characterized using laboratory measurements with a grid of artificial stars. We quantify the contribut…
The Fermi-LAT Light Curve Repository
S. Abdollahi, M. Ajello, L. Baldini +110
The Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT) light curve repository (LCR) is a publicly available, continually updated library of gamma-ray light curves of variable Fermi-LAT sources gener…
Report of the Topical Group on Dark Energy and Cosmic Acceleration: Complementarity of Probes and New Facilities for Snowmass 2021
Brenna Flaugher, Vivian Miranda, David J. Schlegel +27
The mechanism(s) driving the early- and late-time accelerated expansion of the Universe represent one of the most compelling mysteries in fundamental physics today. The path to und…
A Gamma-ray Pulsar Timing Array Constrains the Nanohertz Gravitational Wave Background
M. Ajello, W. B. Atwood, L. Baldini +129
After large galaxies merge, their central supermassive black holes are expected to form binary systems whose orbital motion generates a gravitational wave background (GWB) at nanoh…
Snowmass2021 Cosmic Frontier White Paper: Rubin Observatory after LSST
Bob Blum, Seth W. Digel, Alex Drlica-Wagner +10
The Vera C. Rubin Observatory will begin the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) in 2024, spanning an area of 18,000 square degrees in six bands, with more than 800 observations…
Exploring the MeV Sky with a Combined Coded Mask and Compton Telescope: The Galactic Explorer with a Coded Aperture Mask Compton Telescope (GECCO)
Elena Orlando, Eugenio Bottacini, Alexander Moiseev +33
The sky at MeV energies is currently poorly explored. Here we present an innovative mission concept that builds on and improves past and currently proposed missions at such energie…
