QCD on the BlueGene/L Supercomputer
G. Bhanot, D. Chen, A. Gara +2
In June 2004 QCD was simulated for the first time at sustained speed exceeding 1 TeraFlops in the BlueGene/L supercomputer at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Lab. The implementation a…
The BlueGene/L Supercomputer
Gyan Bhanot, Dong Chen, Alan Gara +1
The architecture of the BlueGene/L massively parallel supercomputer is described. Each computing node consists of a single compute ASIC plus 256 MB of external memory. The compute…
Status of the QCDOC project
P. A. Boyle, D. Chen, N. H. Christ +12
A status report is given of the QCDOC project, a massively parallel computer optimized for lattice QCD using system-on-a-chip technology. We describe several of the hardware and so…
Status of the QCDSP project
Dong Chen, Ping Chen, Norman H. Christ +15
We describe the completed 8,192-node, 0.4Tflops machine at Columbia as well as the 12,288-node, 0.6Tflops machine assembled at the RIKEN Brookhaven Research Center. Present perform…
QCDSP - A status report
QCDSP Collaboration, Dong Chen, Ping Chen +16
The QCDSP machine at Columbia University has grown to 2,048 nodes achieving a peak speed of 100 Gigaflops. Software for quenched and Hybrid Monte Carlo (HMC) evolution schemes has…
