The ESO Nearby Abell Cluster Survey VI. Spatial distribution and kinematics of early- and late-type galaxies
P. A. M. de Theije, P. Katgert
We used the galaxy spectra obtained in the ESO Nearby Abell Cluster Survey (ENACS) to separate early- and late-type galaxies in the ENACS clusters, by applying a Principal Componen…
The ESO Nearby Abell Cluster Survey: Kinematics of Galaxies in Clusters
A. Biviano, A. Mazure, C. Adami +4
We summarize several results based on the velocity data-set for cluster galaxies provided by ENACS (the ESO Nearby Abell Cluster Survey). We describe the distribution of velocity d…
The ESO Nearby Abell Cluster Survey: Properties of the Galaxies
P. Katgert, C. Adami, P. de Theije +3
In this paper we summarize the main properties of the ENACS (the ESO Nearby Abell Cluster Survey), which was one of the ESO Keyprogrammes carried out in the first half of the 1990'…
ENACSVII, Galaxy density profiles of rich clusters of galaxies
C. Adami, A. Mazure, P. Katgert +1
We have analyzed the projected galaxy distributions in a subset of the ENACS/ COSMOS cluster sample. We made Maximum-Likelihood fits to the distribution of COSMOS galaxies for 4 th…
