Quantum information and quantum simulation of neutrino physics
A. B. Balantekin, Michael J. Cervia, Amol V. Patwardhan +2
In extreme astrophysical environments such as core-collapse supernovae and binary neutron star mergers, neutrinos play a major role in driving various dynamical and microphysical p…
Role of non-gaussian quantum fluctuations in neutrino entanglement
Denis Lacroix, A. B. Balantekin, Michael J. Cervia +2
The flavor evolution of neutrinos in environments with large neutrino number densities is an open problem at the nexus of astrophysics and neutrino flavor physics. Among the many u…
Eigenvalues and eigenstates of the many-body collective neutrino oscillation problem
Amol V. Patwardhan, Michael J. Cervia, A. Baha Balantekin
We demonstrate a method to systematically obtain eigenvalues and eigenstates of a many-body Hamiltonian describing collective neutrino oscillations. The method is derived from the…
On symmetries of Hamiltonians describing systems with arbitrary spins
Michael J. Cervia, Amol V. Patwardhan, A. B. Balantekin
We consider systems where dynamical variables are the generators of the SU(2) group. A subset of these Hamiltonians is exactly solvable using the Bethe ansatz techniques. We show t…
