Variable Rate Deep Image Compression with Modulated Autoencoder
Fei Yang, Luis Herranz, Joost van de Weijer +3
Variable rate is a requirement for flexible and adaptable image and video compression. However, deep image compression methods are optimized for a single fixed rate-distortion trad…
Temporal Coherence for Active Learning in Videos
Javad Zolfaghari Bengar, Abel Gonzalez-Garcia, Gabriel Villalonga +5
Autonomous driving systems require huge amounts of data to train. Manual annotation of this data is time-consuming and prohibitively expensive since it involves human resources. Th…
Sparse data interpolation using the geodesic distance affinity space
Mikhail G. Mozerov, Fei Yang, Joost van de Weijer
In this paper, we adapt the geodesic distance-based recursive filter to the sparse data interpolation problem. The proposed technique is general and can be easily applied to any ki…
One-view occlusion detection for stereo matching with a fully connected CRF model
Mikhail G. Mozerov, Joost van de Weijer
In this paper, we extend the standard belief propagation (BP) sequential technique proposed in the tree-reweighted sequential method to the fully connected CRF models with the geod…
