Existence of a non-standard isoperimetric triple partition
Matteo Novaga, Emanuele Paolini, Vincenzo Maria Tortorelli
We show existence of a isoperimetric -partition of , with one set of finite volume and two of infinite volume, which is asymptotic to a singular minimal cone.
Locally isoperimetric partitions
Matteo Novaga, Emanuele Paolini, Vincenzo Maria Tortorelli
Locally isoperimetric -partitions are partitions of the space into regions with prescribed, finite or infinite measure, which have minimal perimeter (which is…
Isoperimetric planar clusters with infinitely many regions
Matteo Novaga, Emanuele Paolini, Eugene Stepanov +1
An infinite cluster in is a sequence of disjoint measurable sets , , called regions of the cluster. Given the volu…
Isoperimetric clusters in homogeneous spaces via concentration compactness
Matteo Novaga, Emanuele Paolini, Eugene Stepanov +1
We show the existence of generalized clusters of a finite or even infinite number of sets, with minimal total perimeter and given total masses, in metric measure spaces homogeneous…
Motion by Curvature of Planar Networks
Carlo Mantegazza, Matteo Novaga, Vincenzo Maria Tortorelli
We consider the motion by curvature of a network of smooth curves with multiple junctions in the plane, that is, the geometric gradient flow associated to the length functional. Su…
