Measurements of a quantum bulk acoustic resonator using a superconducting qubit
M. -H. Chou, É. Dumur, Y. P. Zhong +8
Phonon modes at microwave frequencies can be cooled to their quantum ground state using conventional cryogenic refrigeration, providing a convenient way to study and manipulate qua…
Deterministic multi-qubit entanglement in a quantum network
Youpeng Zhong, Hung-Shen Chang, Audrey Bienfait +8
Quantum entanglement is a key resource for quantum computation and quantum communication \cite{Nielsen2010}. Scaling to large quantum communication or computation networks further…
A fast and large bandwidth superconducting variable coupler
Hung-Shen Chang, Kevin J. Satzinger, Youpeng Zhong +8
Variable microwave-frequency couplers are highly useful components in classical communication systems, and likely will play an important role in quantum communication applications.…
Remote entanglement via adiabatic passage using a tunably-dissipative quantum communication system
Hung-Shen Chang, Youpeng Zhong, Audrey Bienfait +8
Effective quantum communication between remote quantum nodes requires high fidelity quantum state transfer and remote entanglement generation. Recent experiments have demonstrated…
