Quantum Dot Arrays in Silicon and Germanium
W. I. L. Lawrie, H. G. J. Eenink, N. W. Hendrickx +15
Electrons and holes confined in quantum dots define an excellent building block for quantum emergence, simulation, and computation. In order for quantum electronics to become pract…
High performance superconducting nanowire single photon detectors operating at temperature from 4 to 7 K
Ronan Gourgues, Johannes W. N. Los, Julien Zichi +6
We experimentally investigate the performance of NbTiN superconducting nanowire single photon detectors above the base temperature of a conventional Gifford-McMahon cryocooler (2.5…
NbTiN low timing jitter single-photon detectors with unity internal efficiency at 1550 nm and 2.5 K
Julien Zichi, Jin Chang, Stephan Steinhauer +8
The requirements in quantum optics experiments for high single photon detection efficiency, low timing jitter, low dark count rate and short dead time have been fulfilled with the…
Rapid high-fidelity gate-based spin read-out in silicon
G. Zheng, N. Samkharadze, M. L. Noordam +5
Silicon spin qubits form one of the leading platforms for quantum computation. As with any qubit implementation, a crucial requirement is the ability to measure individual quantum…
