High Altitude Platform Station based Super Macro Base Station (HAPS-SMBS) Constellations
Md Sahabul Alam, Gunes Karabulut Kurt, Halim Yanikomeroglu +2
High altitude platform station (HAPS) systems have recently attracted renewed attention. While terrestrial and satellite technologies are well-established for providing connectivit…
Effect of Impulsive Noise on Uplink NOMA Systems
Bassant Selim, Md Sahabul Alam, Georges Kaddoum +1
Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) was recently proposed as a viable technology that can potentially provide the spectral efficiency, low latency, and massive connectivity requi…
A Novel Relay Selection Strategy of Cooperative Network Impaired by Bursty Impulsive Noise
Md Sahabul Alam, Georges Kaddoum, Basile L. Agba
Best relay selection (BRS) is crucial in enhancing the performance of cooperative networks. In contrast to most previous works, where the guidelines for BRS are limited to Gaussian…
Performance Analysis of DF Cooperative Relaying over Bursty Impulsive Noise Channel
Md Sahabul Alam, Fabrice Labeau, Georges Kaddoum
In this article, we consider the performance analysis of a decode-and-forward (DF) cooperative relaying (CR) scheme over channels impaired by bursty impulsive noise. Although, Midd…
