transition strength in stable Ni isotopes
L. J. Evitts, A. B. Garnsworthy, T. Kibedi +21
Excited states in Ni were populated via inelastic proton scattering at the Australian National University as well as via inelastic neutron scattering at the University…
Detailed spectroscopy of Ca: A study of the decay of K
J. L. Pore, C. Andreoiu, J. K. Smith +33
We report on high-statistics data from the decay of the K = 2 ground state taken with the GRIFFIN spectrometer located at the TRIUMF-ISAC facility. In total,…
Emerging collectivity from the nuclear structure of Xe: Inelastic neutron scattering studies and shell-model calculations
E. E. Peters, A. E. Stuchbery, A. Chakraborty +6
Inelastic neutron scattering was used to study the low-lying nuclear structure of Xe. A comprehensive level scheme is presented, as well as new level lifetimes, multipole m…
Conceptual design and first results for a neutron detector with interaction localization capabilities
J. Heideman, D. Perez-Loureiro, R. Grzywacz +15
A new high-precision detector for studying neutrons from beta-delayed neutron emission and direct reaction studies is proposed. The Neutron dEtector with Xn Tracking (NEXT) array i…
