Large Scale Deterministic Networking: A Simulation Evaluation
Ahmed Nasrallah, Venkatraman Balasubramanian, Akhilesh Thyagaturu +2
The use of Ethernet switched networks usually involves best effort service. A recent effort by the IEEE 802.1/3 TSN group has sought to standardize the Ethernet data-link protocol…
Reconfiguration Algorithms for High Precision Communications in Time Sensitive Networks: Time-Aware Shaper Configuration with IEEE 802.1Qcc (Extended Version)
Ahmed Nasrallah, Venkatraman Balasubramanian, Akhilesh Thyagaturu +2
As new networking paradigms emerge for different networking applications, e.g., cyber-physical systems, and different services are handled under a converged data link technology, e…
TSN Algorithms for Large Scale Networks: A Survey and Conceptual Comparison
Ahmed Nasrallah, Venkatraman Balasubramanian, Akhilesh Thyagaturu +2
This paper provides a comprehensive survey of queueing and scheduling mechanisms for supporting large scale deterministic networks (LDNs). The survey finds that extensive mechanism…
FlexNGIA: A Flexible Internet Architecture for the Next-Generation Tactile Internet
Mohamed Faten Zhani, Hesham ElBakoury
From virtual reality and telepresence, to augmented reality, holoportation, and remotely controlled robotics, these future network applications promise an unprecedented development…
