Realistic simulations of galaxy formation in f(R) modified gravity
Christian Arnold, Matteo Leo, Baojiu Li
We have carried out a set of cosmological hydrodynamical simulations that follow galaxy formation in modified gravity models. Our simulations employ the Illustris-TNG full p…
High-redshift test of gravity using enhanced growth of small structures probed by the neutral hydrogen distribution
Matteo Leo, Christian Arnold, Baojiu Li
Future 21 cm intensity mapping surveys such as SKA can provide precise information on the spatial distribution of the neutral hydrogen (HI) in the post-reionization epoch. This inf…
Simulating galaxy formation in f(R) modified gravity: Matter, halo, and galaxy-statistics
Christian Arnold, Baojiu Li
We present an analysis of the matter, halo and galaxy clustering in -gravity employing the SHYBONE full-physics hydrodynamical simulation suite. Our analysis focuses on the i…
A general framework to test gravity using galaxy clusters II: A universal model for the halo concentration in gravity
Myles A. Mitchell, Christian Arnold, Jian-hua He +1
We present a novel fitting formula for the halo concentration enhancement in chameleon gravity relative to General Relativity (GR). The formula is derived by employing a lar…
