Jacques-Robert Delorme, Nemanja Jovanovic, Daniel Echeverri +28
The Keck Planet Imager and Characterizer (KPIC) is a purpose-built instrument to demonstrate new technological and instrumental concepts initially developed for the exoplanet direc…
Searching for Planets Orbiting Alpha Centauri A with the James Webb Space Telescope
Charles Beichman, Marie Ygouf, Jorge Llop Sayson +18
Alpha Centauri A is the closest solar-type star to the Sun and offers an excellent opportunity to detect the thermal emission of a mature planet heated by its host star. The MIRI c…
High-Contrast Testbeds for Future Space-Based Direct Imaging Exoplanet Missions
Johan Mazoyer, Pierre Baudoz, Ruslan Belikov +25
Instrumentation techniques in the field of direct imaging of exoplanets have greatly advanced over the last two decades. Two of the four NASA-commissioned large concept studies inv…
Demonstration of an electric field conjugation algorithm for improved starlight rejection through a single mode optical fiber
Jorge Llop Sayson, Garreth Ruane, Dimitri Mawet +8
Linking a coronagraph instrument to a spectrograph via a single mode optical fiber is a pathway towards detailed characterization of exoplanet atmospheres with current and future g…
