The complex galaxy cluster Abell 514: New results obtained with the XMM - Newton satellite
J. Weratschnig, M. Gitti, S. Schindler +1
We study the X-ray morphology and dynamics of the galaxy cluster Abell 514. Also, the relation between the X-ray properties and Faraday Rotation measures of this cluster are invest…
The puzzling properties of the Helium White Dwarf orbiting the millisecond pulsar PSR J1911-5958A in NGC 6752
G. Cocozza, F. R. Ferraro, A. Possenti +1
We have used phase-resolved high-resolution images and low resolution spectra taken at the ESO Very Large Telescope, to study the properties of the low-mass Helium White Dwarf comp…
TNG photometry of the open cluster NGC 6939
G. Andreuzzi, A. Bragaglia, M. Tosi +1
We present CCD UBVI photometry of the intermediate age open cluster NGC 6939 for three TNG-DOLORES fields. The fields A and B cover the center of the cluster; the third one is loca…
Wide field photometry of the M104 globular cluster system
Alessia Moretti, Enrico V. Held, Luca Rizzi +3
We present preliminary results of a wide field study of the globular cluster system of NGC4594, the Sombrero galaxy. The galaxy was observed in B, V, and R using the Wide Field Ima…
