Quantization of the Zigzag Model
John C. Donahue, Sergei Dubovsky
The zigzag model is a relativistic integrable -body system describing the leading high-energy semiclassical dynamics on the worldsheet of long confining strings in massive adjoi…
Classical Integrability of the Zigzag Model
John C. Donahue, Sergei Dubovsky
The zigzag model is a relativistic -body system arising in the high energy limit of the worldsheet scattering in adjoint two-dimensional QCD. We prove classical Liouville integr…
Confining Strings, Infinite Statistics and Integrability
John C. Donahue, Sergei Dubovsky
We study confining strings in massive adjoint two-dimensional chromodynamics. Off-shell, as a consequence of zigzag formation, the resulting worldsheet theory provides a non-trivia…
From QCD Strings to WZW
John C. Donahue, Sergei Dubovsky, Guzmán Hernández-Chifflet +1
According to the Axionic String Anstaz (ASA) confining flux tubes in pure gluodynamics are in the same equivalence class as a new family of integrable non-critical strings, called…
Universal Landau Pole and Physics below the 100 TeV Scale
Christopher D. Carone, Shikha Chaurasia, John C. Donahue
We reconsider the possibility that all standard model gauge couplings blow up at a common scale in the ultraviolet. The simplest implementation of this idea assumes supersymmetry a…
