Reconstructing the Peak Distribution in the Sunyaev-Zeldovich Effect Surveys
Jounghun Lee, Naoki Yoshida
We examine the ability of the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect (SZE) statistics proposed by Lee (2002) using numerical simulations. The statistics describe the distribution of the peak he…
Formalism for the Subhalo Mass Function in the Tidal-limit Approximation
Jounghun Lee
We present a theoretical formalism by which the global and the local mass functions of dark matter substructures (dark subhalos) can be analytically estimated. The global subhalo m…
Reconstructing Three-dimensional Structure of Underlying Triaxial Dark Halos From Xray and Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Effect Observations of Galaxy Clusters
Jounghun Lee, Yasushi Suto
While the use of galaxy clusters as {\it tools} to probe cosmology is established, their conventional description still relies on the spherical and/or isothermal models that were p…
Arc Statistics in Triaxial Dark Matter Halos: Testing the Collisionless Cold Dark Matter Paradigm
Masamune Oguri, Jounghun Lee, Yasushi Suto
Statistics of lensed arcs in clusters of galaxies serve as a powerful probe of both the non-sphericity and the inner slope of dark matter halos. We develop a semi-analytic method t…
