Studies of general relativity with quantum sensors
G. Lefevre, G. Condon, I. Riou +15
We present two projects aiming to probe key aspects of the theory of General Relativity with high-precision quantum sensors. These projects use cold-atom interferometry with the ai…
Exploring gravity with the MIGA large scale atom interferometer
B. Canuel, A. Bertoldi, L. Amand +22
We present an underground long baseline atom interferometer to study gravity at large scale. The hybrid atom-laser antenna will use several atom interferometers simultaneously inte…
MIGA: Combining laser and matter wave interferometry for mass distribution monitoring and advanced geodesy
B. Canuel, S. Pelisson, L. Amand +14
The Matter-Wave laser Interferometer Gravitation Antenna, MIGA, will be a hybrid instrument composed of a network of atom interferometers horizontally aligned and interrogated by t…
Matter-wave laser Interferometric Gravitation Antenna (MIGA): New perspectives for fundamental physics and geosciences
R. Geiger, L. Amand, A. Bertoldi +13
The MIGA project aims at demonstrating precision measurements of gravity with cold atom sensors in a large scale instrument and at studying the associated applications in geoscienc…
