Analytical Solution to the Transient Beam Loading Effects of the Superconducting Cavity
Ran Huang, Yuan He, Zhi-Jun Wang +6
Transient beam loading effect is one of the key issues in any superconducting accelerators, which needs to be carefully investigated. The core problem in the analysis is to obtain…
The Study of Media Beta Elliptical Cavities for CADS
Wen Liangjian, Zhang Shenghu, Li Yongming +7
The China Accelerator Driven Sub-critical System (CADS) is a high intensity proton facility to dispose of nuclear waste and generate electric power. CADS is based on 1.5GeV, 10mA C…
Mechanical design and analysis for a low beta squeezed half-wave resonator
Shoubo He, Yuan He, Shenghu Zhang +11
A superconducting half-wave resonator (HWR) of frequency=162.5 MHz and β=0.09 has been developed at Institute of Modern Physics. Mechanical stability of the low beta HWR cavity is…
Study on the frequency tuning of half-wave resonator at IMP
Shoubo He, Yuan He, Weiming Yue +5
A 162.5 MHz superconducting half-wave resonator (HWR) with geometry beta of 0.09 is being developed for Injector II of China Accelerator Driven Sub-critical System (CADS) Project a…
