Sensitivity of Super-Kamiokande with Gadolinium to Low Energy Anti-neutrinos from Pre-supernova Emission
C. Simpson, K. Abe, C. Bronner +186
Supernova detection is a major objective of the Super-Kamiokande (SK) experiment. In the next stage of SK (SK-Gd), gadolinium (Gd) sulfate will be added to the detector, which will…
Triplet Lifetime in Gaseous Argon
Michael Akashi-Ronquest, Amanda Bacon, Christopher Benson +27
MiniCLEAN is a single-phase liquid argon dark matter experiment. During the initial cooling phase, impurities within the cold gas (140 K) were monitored by measuring the scintil…
Measurement of neutrino-oxygen neutral-current quasi-elastic cross section using atmospheric neutrinos at Super-Kamiokande
Kamiokande Collaboration, L. Wan, K. Abe +164
Neutral current (NC) interactions of atmospheric neutrinos on oxygen form one of the major backgrounds in the search for supernova relic neutrinos with water-based Cherenkov detect…
Atmospheric Neutrino Oscillation Analysis With Improved Event Reconstruction in Super-Kamiokande IV
Kamiokande Collaboration, M. Jiang, K. Abe +167
A new event reconstruction algorithm based on a maximum likelihood method has been developed for Super-Kamiokande. Its improved kinematic and particle identification capabilities e…
