Measurement of Charge and Light Yields for Xe L-Shell Electron Captures in Liquid Xenon
Dylan J Temples, Jacob McLaughlin, Jack Bargemann +6
Dark matter searches using dual-phase xenon time-projection chambers (LXe-TPCs) rely on their ability to reject background electron recoils (ERs) while searching for signal-like nu…
Projected sensitivity of the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) experiment to the two-neutrino and neutrinoless double beta decays of Xe
The LUX-ZEPLIN, Collaboration, : +194
The projected sensitivity of the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) experiment to two-neutrino and neutrinoless double beta decay of Xe is presented. LZ is a 10-tonne xenon time projection ch…
Projected sensitivities of the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) experiment to new physics via low-energy electron recoils
The LZ Collaboration, D. S. Akerib, A. K. Al Musalhi +194
LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) is a dark matter detector expected to obtain world-leading sensitivity to weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) interacting via nuclear recoils with a ~7-ton…
Enhancing the sensitivity of the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) dark matter experiment to low energy signals
D. S. Akerib, A. K. Al Musalhi, S. K. Alsum +184
Two-phase xenon detectors, such as that at the core of the forthcoming LZ dark matter experiment, use photomultiplier tubes to sense the primary (S1) and secondary (S2) scintillati…
