Cryogenic characterisation of the FBK NUV-HD-cryo Silicon Photomultipliers for the DarkSide-20k dark matter experiment
F. Acerbi, P. Adhikari, P. Agnes +298
Liquid Argon Time Projection Chambers (TPCs) are highly promising detectors for dark matter searches due to their uniform response, scalability to large target masses, and compatib…
Search for two-neutrino double electron capture in Ar with the DarkSide-50 detector
50 Collaboration, P. Agnes, I. F. M. Albuquerque +83
Two-neutrino double electron capture is a rare nuclear decay where two electrons are simultaneously captured from the atomic shells and two neutrinos are emitted. We report on the…
The Darkside-20k Data Acquisition System
Fabio Acerbi, Pushparaj Adhikari, Paolo Agnes +289
DarkSide-20k is a WIMP search experiment using liquid argon as a target, designed to perform a background-free search for dark matter with unprecedented sensitivity, and is current…
First Nuclear Ultra-Heavy Dark Matter Search in Argon Time Projection Chambers with the DarkSide-50 Experiment
P. Agnes, I. F. Albuquerque, T. Alexander +125
We report the first search for nuclear ultra-heavy dark matter (UHDM) in a dual-phase liquid argon time projection chamber using the DarkSide-50 experiment. Unlike conventional wea…
